Do the Mormons believe the Bible to be the infallible word of God?

No, Article of Faith #8 teaches:

"We believe the Bible to be the word of God, as far as it is translated correctly;.."

"But the Bible as we know it is a different volume from what it was—and would have been—had it not been changed so much by those with selfish interest."

Yes, in 1833 The official Church Historian, Andrew Jenson wrote: "Joseph Smith the Prophet finished the translation of the Bible."

God's word has remained true. It was written over a period of 1500 years, by many different men and from many different backgrounds. Yet, there is no place in the canon of Scripture that contradicts any other portion.

The God of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament. The truth of one book is the same as the truth of any other book within the Bible.

In it God's judgment, forgiveness, and righteousness are displayed. Our Savior is revealed in all His glory both before His incarnation and after. The Holy Bible is the witness of the Son; and He said:

Joseph Smith also copied mispellings from the 1611 King James Version which is plagiarism and one author asks if the book of Mormon was penned earlier in 600 BC and AD 421 then how come it quotes the 1611 Bible and I will add that Joseph Smith copied the mispellings. I also came to learn the Joseph Smith copied from the book "View of the Hebrews" and I learned from listening to Sandra Tanner on the Bible Answerman program that the secret rituals in Mormonism are very similar to those practiced in Freemasonry of the time period that Mormonism started which means that the founders of Mormonism copied from Freemasonry.

If we are talking about accuracy, how can you trust the Book of Mormon when it has about 4,000 changes? And if you are asked to pray about the Book of Mormon, you should ask which of the nearly 4,000 changes you should pray about first. You should also ask why the Book of Mormon contradicts Mormon doctrine but you should really find these answers from an expert on Mormonism which is not the Latter Day Saints because I don't expect them to tell you the whole truth but find the research on it because ministries to the Mormons by real Christians will tell you because you can't take the word of a convicted money digger who is Joseph Smith.
