New Tracts

I see a need for new tracts needed.  If someone comes to your door and asks you, "Do you know who I can talk to about Jesus Christ?"  What would you say?  Would you be scared?  This person could be a Mormon.  It is not enough to know facts but it is important to rehearse what you are going to say in a witnessing encounter with people.  Do you have a Bible ready at your door?  Do you have a three by five card or a five by six card with information at your door?  Do you have tracts available for other people who will accept them?  And once we're already with what God says in His word, the Holy Spirit can improvise and give us additional things to say.

The question, "Do you know who I can talk to about Jesus Christ?" can be thought of that the person knows their target audience and they are trying to convert you or a Christian.

We need to ask them questions that reveal what their authority is, what their needs are and we need to target their authority and their need, tell them what the Bible says and why we personally know what they believe is wrong.  We need to have some information to address some of their common arguments as an overview.

We need to take time out and post some tracts on here that we've written so we will be ready, so that Christians don't shy away and that we're bold in witnessing.  If you come home tired and exhausted, are you going to be up to witnessing with people?  Are you going to remember all the verses that you need to use?

Practice with us, lead the way and help us help you.  Other Christians can use your help.  It is not enough to learn about them but you need to practice.

1 Corinthians 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring [it] into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Paul shadowboxes and we need to shadow box by practicing what we are going to say or we will fail the witnessing encounter if we don't remember, aren't up to it or if we are afraid.  Boxers don't get in the ring unless they practice so we need to practice.

What I have is a booklet which I designed a few years ago for JW’s, the booklet tells them about Jesus through their own Bible translation.

I have them in the house and in my car glove compartment. When I see the JW’s about I usually put the booklet in a plastic food bag incase it rains and put it on the car windscreen of the pairs that are doing door to door work.

When we get our housing sorted and some time I’ll put the http://www.nscfc.com/ info on the back…

Where I live, Jehovah Witnesses won't read other people's literature and they claim it is spiritual pornography so I would classify them as only salesmen and not consumers.

When I look at all the articles on Mormonism, I see a lot of research and what I think is needed is information we can memorize or give them in a tract format.  I want to write a regular tract and adapt it for Mormon responses because research only tells someone so much and what we need is to proclaim the true Jesus and real wisdom with information on how to get there.  They place so much emphasis on the burning in the bosom which is subjective and it is an age old problem

Jer 14:14 Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Jer 23:26 How long shall [this] be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, [they are] prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

They use the passage in James 1:5 to talk about whether the book of Mormon is true or not but James is talking about wisdom (how to use knowledge) and not knowledge (knowing what facts are true).

Proverbs 13:16 Every prudent [man] dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open [his] folly.

Proverbs 14:8 The wisdom of the prudent [is] to understand his way: but the folly of fools [is] deceit.

They are really inserting "folly" instead of getting knowledge when praying about the Book of Mormon.  Subjective feelings or thoughts are nothing but deceit of their own hearts:

2 Timothy 3:8  Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

2 Timothy 3:9  But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all [men], as theirs also was.

Isa 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.

An unbeliever praying about something false (the Book of Mormon) is not going to get an answer from God because God says He will not hear and any answer to the Mormon that affirms the book of Mormon has to be false because they are praying to a different God that doesn't exist, their claims have no substantial historical proof and their book has nearly 4,000 changes and their doctrines have changed.  If what their prophet said is true then why has their doctrines changed?  Their doctrines changed because what their prophet said in past times are false.
